Guthrie Christmas & New Years

OKay, Flying with Sam to Kentucky with all those presents is exhausting.

Family Christmas makes me broke.

Being on a plane with Paige on the way home (cause I promised her I would) makes me crazy.

And I'm working New Years Eve, so I reckon I'll see the lot of you in Silver that night. Probably be draggin your asses home too at four in the morning.

Mama took my changes better than I thought she would, probably cause the lot of us are weird anyways. Jeb wouldn't leave me alone the whole time, kept poking at my spine and asking me if it hurt. It gets really old, especially when we're trying toget to sleep.

Glad to be back though cause I hate doing dishes.

Yeahit was more than alright. She was a little shocked but really, I swear, our mama is tougher than nails. She's so accepting, it's weird. Although she was a little worried that I was sick and she wouldn't be able to tell. I had to keep reminding her that I don't get sick.

I think once you've accepted the fact that your son is a mutant and gay, there isn't much else that would faze someone. Especially when your mother already has two other mutant children.

Yeah but everyone has a breaking point, yanno? This would have been icing on the cake, insult to injury and all that. Like fate just keeps dumping on her. Mama doesn't get a break ever but I kinda wanted to make things easy for her. Instead, I got a hit on the arm and a strip off my back for waiting so long to tell her.
